PriceCo and PricePro are integral parts of the Welcome Home Program. Welcome Home is a long-term residential treatment program for men who are determined to overcome substance abuse and lead productive lives. To live a healthy lifestyle one must be able to meet the demands of a normal working life. PriceCo and PricePro were created to fulfill this vital role in the Welcome Home program, teaching recovering addicts practical job skills and a proper work ethic. Through their experience of working in the stores, program participants learn appropriate workplace behavior, management and leadership skills, excellence in standards, and pride in performance. In short, Welcome Home -- together with PriceCo and PricePro -- provides program participants with all the skills needed to ensure a successful career and re-join the community as contributing members living healthy, successful lives without drugs and alcohol.   The John Volken Foundation provides the buildings rent-free. As a result, store customers   enjoy substantial savings on brand-name products (groceries, clothing, furniture, etc), while sales proceeds help defray the cost of maintaining the Welcome Home Program.
